New Puppy or Kitten?
Congratulations! You have a new member of the family. Welcome your new puppy or kitten with the same love and care every baby deserves. Wellness examinations and vaccines against diseases, as well as microscopic fecal examinations to detect parasites, should begin at 6 weeks of age. Your puppy or kitten will be put on a vaccination schedule determined by the doctor. Your pet can be spayed (
ovariohysterectomy) or neutered (
castration) at 5 ½ to 6 months of age if you choose. The Doctor will be happy to discuss the benefits of the surgery as well as answer any questions you may have.

Behavioral questions and recommendations can be addressed at the time of the visit. All of our patients are special to us and become a part of the Appleseed Valley Veterinary family when they walk through the door. We welcome new patients.
